I applied for 101 lots but didn’t manage to get any allocation at all.
Turns out that balloting ratio was pretty decently spread out. 2 out 25 chances means a 8% chances of getting allocated. That’s better chance than the previously hot IPO like Singapore O&G and SPH Reit.
For everyone’s information, Katrina (another recent F&B IPO) surged 82% on debut day so I’d expect Kimly to debut strongly the same at about 40 cents to 42 cents on the first day. I don’t think I’ll be giving a chase on this one. The meats are mostly gone at such hefty valuation.
Congrats to the people who were allocated. My poor run on IPO continues…

I don't see that as a lost. You'd just have to look for 3 month, 6 month, and 12 months lockout period to be expired. At that time, the employees and venture capitalist are free to unleash their shares, you'd see a dip.
That was a same case with SHAK (shake and shark, where they jump so high, then they fall like flies).
or the recent SNAP (snap chat), it jumped from 17 to 27$ before everybody realized they were buying stock without any voting right?! What??!! now it's back <$20 and I still that's just too crazy to buy. Basically, you'd give the guy with no education to manage a company and making all the decision even though he only owns 17%?? It makes no sense. LOL 🙂
But, if you still believe in this company… heehe I'd say wait. LOL 🙂

Yeah Snap and Canada Goose was crazy, open and it shot up like a mad person with high valuations. I guess its still money there to be made.

Yes, nothing to lament. On the first day, they may push the share to forty over cents to unload. Nothing really so special or exciting about this business to warrant that price. Just coffeeshop business, that's all. No big deal. Don't chase, otherwise get blue black.

I balloted 100,000. Did not get any too =(
Surprisingly balloting 10,000 to 49,900 has the highest chance at 12%. But getting 2,000 is just too little.
Good tactic. But 2 lots really nothing much to be happy also
